I can provide you with a safe and confidential space to talk through the things that trouble you. You may never have spoken to anyone before about how you feel. For a variety of reasons, you might feel it is not possible to talk through your difficulties with those closest to you. Just having me there to listen to you, to appreciate and understand what your world is like, and to not make any demands or judgements of you can have great value and benefit for you.
I will not make you divulge things you are not ready to explore. My overall aim is to help you experience a more satisfying life in whatever ways you decide.
Together we can explore your feelings about your current circumstances, but also look at some of your past life experiences. This will enable you to make some sense of how past events might influence how you view the present. Having this understanding will give you insight to make changes and help you develop different values and beliefs for the future.
The therapeutic relationship we build between us is a unique one where I am able to remain objective, be open to you and whatever difficulties you bring, and accept you for who you are. This may be something you have not experienced before.
